(A Ghazal musical program to respect the unfulfilled suppressed love & desire). Ghazal is a journey of life to inner self. Life always has an element of unending, unfulfilled desire of love and craving. Such journeys are beyond any public gaze and often treaded only by the inner self. This journey has unanswered love as its company, has always been magical and painful, its realm is in cerebral space.

Traced back to 7 th century in Arabia and spread to Iran and India with spread of Islam, the Ghazal now pervades new demographics and languages. It evolved and changed its form to brevity and suggestive richness.

Ghazal tends to prove that superiority of human being does not rest in power of possession but in power of unison, love and empathy. It suggests that progress made in the fields of science and technology must mix with equal intensity of art, ethics, values, and equality to enable sustainable, balanced and purposeful humane growth in the society.
