Research

Cultural assimilation claims that it creates a more cohesive cultural identity, reduces cultural conflict, and helps people gain more social and economic opportunities. It is a process in which several cultures assimilate their values, behaviours, and beliefs. As many members of the Academy have a research and teaching background, the Academy, in collaboration with faculties from research institutions and Universities, has proposed the following research projects.
(A) Blue Economy of the Islands as Game Changer Towards Sustainable Development

The importance of islands and coastal states in maritime strategy has long been known but remains underappreciated. Throughout history, rising nations have controlled strategic islands to project power across vast areas of the globe. The threats from climate change and maritime security geopolitics, a deepening partnership among these islands and other big nations will shape the new framework for balanced economic growth and strategic architecture.

(B) Developing a Tangible Growth Index (TGI) to Constrain Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Estimation: Role of Liberal Ethical Economy (LEE)

This thesis aims to undertake a socioeconomic study and offer the possible roadmap for a new global unbiased growth market index based on equal natural justice and appropriate and optimum resource distribution.

(C) The Goa-Bengal Coupling: An Empirical Cross-Cultural Analysis

This research aims to undertake an empirical investigation to understand the extent of cultural (and related spiritual) assimilation and exchanges between ancient Bengal and Goa.
